South African Prophet Found Guilty, For Spraying Insecticide On His Members

A South African ‘prophet’ who was arrested after he sprayed his congregants with an insecticide, has been found guilty of intending to do grievous bodily harm.

According to SABC, ‘Prophet’ Lethebo Rabalago was found guilty of contravening the Agricultural Stock Remedies Act after he sprayed Doom on his congregants claiming it had healing powers.

“This was a dangerous act. The fact that these people were sprayed on their faces with Doom makes this offence the worst of its kind, spraying people with Doom injured victims seriously,” said magistrate Frans Mahodi.

The ‘Prophet of Doom’ shot to fame in 2016 after he sprayed congregants at his church in Limpopo prompting an interdiction from the Limpopo High Court to stop the prophet from spraying the poisonous household insecticide on his congregation.

Speaking at the time, ‘Prophet’ Lethebo Rabalago had sensationally declared that Doom belonged to God.

“Everything here on Earth belongs to God. Petrol belongs to God. Doom belongs to God,” he said.

His followers would later camp outside the courts wearing T-shirts branded with the words “Do not touch my anointed one” in solidarity with the prophet.

Limpopo health MEC Phophi Ramathuba was however not mincing his words and urged for a mental evaluation on the preacher

“People like Doom pastor need to be mentally evaluated. A normal person cannot spray Doom on other human beings.”
