There have been fresh killings in parts of Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.
Heavy armed men struck late Thursday at Alode Community in Eleme Local Government area where two people were killed.
One person is also feared killed and several others wounded in gun violence at Okujagu community in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State.
It was gathered that suspected cultists invaded the area, shooting at random to scare passersby before killing their target.
A source within the community, who claimed to have witnessed the attack, said the gunmen were dressed in black and entered the area in a car with tinted glasses.
The latest killing at Okujagu is the second of such incident this week, after one was shut dead on Wednesday.
While the Rivers state Police Command is yet to react to the recent killings, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Eleme Local Government, Obarilomate Ollor has assured (Watch Live Video ) that perpetrators of the act will be apprehended.
